Avaya wanted a single desktop client which fully integrated the company’s existing email, voicemail, text, call log, and nascent video services. During the requirements gathering process I found that existing development teams were isolated from each other and had done very little work on integration. For example, each service required its own account—the various tech teams did not have agreed-upon standards to support a universal account login.

In the absence of a systems architect, my team did the work to document login solutions for various configurations.
